I want to use an alternate profile for Google Chrome, and I want all associated data to be stored here:
C:\chromedata\

I made sure that the directory exists and it writable.  It is empty.

Now, from a command prompt, I try this:
"C:\Program Files\Google Chrome\chrome.exe --user-data-dir=C:\chromedata\"

I get this error:
The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

How can I do this?
