Large Display Options For Home Office

I'm looking for something to use a display for my home office.
Something I could fit multiple application windows on.
Do you think this would be a good option?

It would be my laptop using the TV as a second monitor.

Looks ok as resolution is ok.
Double check your laptop uses HDMI or wifi though.

it looks ok , but for home office i would chose PC instead of notebook.
In future if u want to connect multiple monitors would be problem.
I can tell that it depends on the resolution and actually window sizes of your applications that you are using, and as athomsfere said too monitor size won't help you solve the problem . So I can gladly say to you that you should use two actually smaller displays on your yomputer instead of making your office crowded. And I say you should buy 2 pieces of 19" monitors and they will serve you just great .
For that price, you can probably get two large monitors and display more, since the amount you can display depends on screen resolution, as others have mentioned.  TVs cost more because they include tuners and speakers, which aren't needed if you just need monitors.

I really thank everyone for the input.  Going with multiple smaller screens.
