ntp kod_init_kod_db error

When i add in /etc/ntp.conf
server 10.50.12.222

Open in new window

and restart ntp server I see:

# rcntp restart
Shutting down network time protocol deamon (NTPD)
sntp[2908]: Started sntp
sntp[2908]: kod_init_kod_db(): Cannot open KoD db file /var/db/ntp-kod

and restart hangs...

Because of that I can't synchronize time.

Operating system is OpenSUSE 11.4.
