Unable to get Trendnet TE100-P1U to print
Hi Experts,
I have a USB/Parallel HP LJ P2035 and I bought the above print server. I installed the utility from the CD, was able to see the print server from the network. But when I try to add the printer to a workstation I get an error message that says:
USB port test print requires NATIVE DOS mode support on your printer. I'm able to ping the print server and Power and WAN led lights are ON except the USB led" that one is off". And the PRINT SERVER led on top of the print server is RED! What is the problem?

Hi,
I will try that next. By shouldn't the USB led be green on the print server? And when I open the web browser for the print server utility and go to printer information tab it says offline?

have you tried creating a local tcp/ip port with the ip address of the printer from the pc that is having the problem. It will print then.
