I opened up my first netbook today (HP mini 1000) to look at replacing a failed hard drive. I'm not familiar with the form factor but from my research it looks like a PATA drive (Puny ATA? :P ).

I'd like to see if I can pull some data from this drive but I don't have the proper "____ to USB or SATA" connector. I'm thinking this might work but I'm not sure:

I guess I'm just looking for confirmation that this will work.
TIA!
