I can't install the client i receive always an error at the end of the installation (file attached)
I used the fr version, but same problem on others computers with the version SC
Have you an idea ?

I have the same errors for two differents clients (not the full client)...Lotus_notes853_W in_SC.exe & Lotus_notes853_Win_FR.exe
In case an AV product or some other control has locked one of the eclipse libraries have you tried running install from an expanded version of the install exe's
Run install once and select to leave the expanded files in a particular location and you can reuse without having to expand onto every client each time you run the setup.

Did you try the standard win client, the EN version?
Hi there Lemosa,,,
In order to avoide such a similar problems I have gone through a workaround which kept me a way from the similar problems ...
I've downloaded "notes_designer_admin853_w 32en" from here
https://www-112.ibm.com/software/howtobuy/passportadvantage/paocustomer/sdma/SDMA?P0=DOWNLOAD_SEARCH_ALL
And Ran it but installed the Lotus Notes 8.5.3 Client only on several XP and W7 32-bit machines and it worked with no issues .. the only problem I faced with one W7 PC and I Solved it by backing up names.nsf & Archive file , Uninstalled LN 8.5.2 client then installed LN client 8.5.3 and every thing went fine ...
Best Wishes

ASKER
yes...and same result...at the end of the installation i receive this error
Did you read and try all attempts of the first link I posted?
ASKER
yes...
C'est triste... It must be something related to the earlier installed version. Can you move the data-tree to a different location and a different name? And install again?
OK try this :
- Uninstall LN client
- Delete the root folder of LN in the root (C:)( backup names.nsf if the user has sone contacts and the Archiving file )
- Search for and Delete every thing related to LN in the registry ( becareful and alerted not to delete any other parameters in the reg) .
-Re-install Lotus Notes in such a different path .
OR
What are the privilege of the users you use to access these PCs and install LN is it an Administrator ( Although it is not preferable in Win7) ??? if not,,, I would suggest if you can create on these PCs a temporary local user with an Admin rights then start the installation process ,,, if this works you can delete this user later .

I moved the data-tree into a backup folder, clear the registry...do a fresh install into a new folder (different name of the old folder), and have always the same error...
I used an user with admin rights

And the files in C:\Lotus\NotesData\workspa ce\logs ? According to the first link there are now error codes in one of the files.

it's not the av the problem...same error without av intalled
I am not able to access the XML files to see the error I am getting "The XML page cannot be displayed"...
Meanwhile, try to Isolate the problem by listing down all the PCs having problem and check if there is any thing common in between them in corrospondance to ,,,
- Operation System .
- Windows Firewall .
- Check if there is any group policies gpedit.msc or Security Policy secpol.msc .
-Is there any similar problems with the installation of the other applications .????
Moreover, a question jumps to my mind over here ,,, The problem over here is with LN8.5.3 then how about LN8.5.2 are you able to install it on these PCs ????

I found something...
setting the system date back to one year before, allows the installation to occur with no issue
i confirm this solution with another computer on next step...

I confirm that to set the system date back resolve the problem with this error...
- uninstall the old lotus program
- backup the lotus folder
- restart the computer
- change the system date
- do the new installation locally
No i didn't change the system date for the others computers...

C'est top!
Interesting, I wonder if this is due to expired root certificates for the digital signature.
Possibly machiens that have been ok have all had MS updates to renew/replace root certificates.
