I have a number of SBS 2003 machines that regularly trigger the following event:

Event Description: A worker process with process id of '15340' serving application pool 'WsusPool' has requested a recycle because the worker process reached its allowed processing time limit.

Should I be concerned about this event? Our monitoring software does report on this event so am concerned and should not be ignoring.

If you're not having problems with the WSUS management tools then I wouldn't worry about it. It just recycling the application pool for WSUS on a regular timed interval.

Good point - and I notice it is only informational so assume it is normal operation for this to occur. Not sure why monitoring thinks it is a negative.
