DLNA Belkin Play Media Server and XBOX360 Connection

I have a Belkin n600 Wireless Router
I also have an XBOX360.

When I open the storage devices section on my XBOX360, I see "Hard Drive," "Current Disc" (not available), "Portable Device" (not available), and "DLNABelkin Play Media Server," which is available.

And there are some music files loaded into it, but not all of them. I'm not sure how they got there, and, more importantly, I don't know how to add more. I've searched high and low on my networked laptop, and networked external hard drives for these songs, but I can only find them in my itunes folder. Why some show up and others don't is beyond me.

How do I determine where the DLNABelkin Play Media Server is pulling music from?

Thanks.

It should be getting music from your media library (in your case iTunes) but it will only use files it considers are correctly labelled and indexed. Might be worth comparing your files that aren't seen via DNLA against Belkin's Music Labeller.
File types also need to be supported so some variable bitrate formats although having a recognised file extention may not be read by the router's firmware.
