Access Table Relationships - Outer left Join vs. Outer Right Join
Database Relationships for newbies question:
Why have a right join and a left Join when a database designer could simply move the tables from the right to the left side of the screen and so achieve the same end? Am I missing something?
I see no actual difference if the designer simply moves the tables around on the screen.

it to do with JOINS, A join is used to combine rows from multiple tables. A join is performed whenever two or more tables is listed in the FROM clause of an SQL statement.

Yup; pay attention to which way the arrow on the join is pointing
Jim.
