I have a customer who has a DB running on 2008 server R2 express, it needs to be migrated on to a full version of SQL 2005 standard. Ive backed up the DB and then generated the scripts setting it to a SQL2005 server when doing it. Ive then uninstalled 2008 and installed the 2005 server. I now want to open and execute the scripts but 2005 managemnet studio wont even open the file and doing it via command line gets so far and errors out with a scripting error at 1400 lines every time. I installed the 2008 r2 management studio to try and open in there but that gives me a  Error HRESULT E_FAIL erro when opening the file.

Help!! I need this to happen ASAP, anyone any ideas, the sql file is larg at around 17Gb, the database from that is around 5Gb.
