You can make your own templates and place them in the default Templates folder, or perhaps subfolders under it. &nbsp;Then as you make documents from them (initially browsing for them using the My Templates icon), they will appear in the Recent Templates icon list. &nbsp;New from Existing lets you make a new template from a selected existing document or template. &nbsp;Is that what you are doing?<br />

How can we remove the default templates that come with Office 2010 and add our own in there. The ones I am talking about are in the screenshot attached.<br />

How can we remove the default templates that come with Office 2010 and add our own in there. The ones I am talking about are in the screenshot attached.

Plugins permitting the Windows versions of Word to read and write formats it does not natively support, such as the OpenDocument format (ODF) are available. Word can import and display images in common bitmap formats such as JPG and GIF. It can also be used to create and display simple line-art.
