remove default templates and add custom ones to office 2010

How can we remove the default templates that come with Office 2010 and add our own in there. The ones I am talking about are in the screenshot attached.

You can make your own templates and place them in the default Templates folder, or perhaps subfolders under it.  Then as you make documents from them (initially browsing for them using the My Templates icon), they will appear in the Recent Templates icon list.  New from Existing lets you make a new template from a selected existing document or template.  Is that what you are doing?

Here is a view of my numerous custom templates in subfolders:
