I'm thinking I could use some kind of select statement in VBA that will looks for the following symbols; ±, +, - and then pull the Numbers that appear after those symbols?

Preferably, and perhaps it's easier to do this way, I would like to see two different outputs,
one that returns the plus dimension and one that returns the negative dimension.

So for the first example, the Positive code would see the ± and return 1.6 while the Negative Code would return 1.4

For the Second example, the Positive code would see the + and return 1.6 while the Negative Code would read after the - and return 1.5

Here are the examples of the different formats that will appear in this field;

1.5 ± .1
1.5 + .1 / -.0
1.50 ± .03
1.50 +.03 / -.00
1.500 ± .010
1.500 + .010 / -.005
1.5000 ± .0005
1.5000 +.0005 / -.0000
10° ± 0.5°
10° ± 2°
