irfanview commands

I'm using irfanview to view and print many different image file types. i want irfanview to automatically send a file to a printer when it is opened. I know there is a command to do this "/print" but i'm having trouble getting this to work. Is there a way to modify the i_view32.exe so that it launches with that command switch? I've tried going into the properties for the exe but i don't see the section to add a command like i would if i right click on the program icon in the start menu. I also tried creating a cmd program to launch irfanview with that switch added but all my images are on the network and it was getting hung up on the unc naming of the files.
