Tracking pallets being loaded into trucks

Hi,

I have a unique problem (possibly not) :)

I have a container which requires to be loaded into 3 other containers based on whats inside (products which are identified by skus)

What we have now is this: the loader gets a sheet.

The sheet has a unique ID (UPC code) which is connected with the incoming container info. Each sheet also has lines for product IDs and the respective carton count and how many pallets these cartons are loaded. The loader will manually input the carton count and pallet count on the sheet and return it to admin. The admin will scan the unique ID then enter the same carton count and pallet count into the computer system manually.

I know there are inventory management system/scanners where you can scan a barcode and enter 1 more field (eg: # of items) to take a stock of an item.

The question is...

Is there any scanners where you could scan and input 3 fields? (preferablly 1 for outloading container string, count of cartons and count of pallets) The condition is, much like the stock-taking system, the scanner should store the data inside it and be able to transfer it out later in the evening to computer (usb/cable link)

If so what are they called?

Thanks for your assistance!
