Call quality Cisco IP Phone with L2L VPN

I have a home user with an IP Phone (7941) connecting back to Call Manager 4 via a L2L VPN. The call quality is not very good. Of course the VOIP traffic is prone to latency. Is there anything configuration changes I can make on Call Manager, Cisco PIX (head office) or ASA 5505 (remote office) to improve the call quality.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
