SBS 2008 certain incoming messages being rejected

SBS 2008 has been in operation with no problems for over 8 months. All of a sudden a week ago, a few incoming messages started bouncing back to the sender with the following diagnostic information:

#550 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service reported an error. The following information should help identify the cause of this error: "MapiExceptionNotFound:16.18969:D2280000, 17.27161:0000000078000000000000000100000000000000, 255.23226:00000000, 255.27962:0A000000, 255.27962:25000000, 255.17082:0F010480, 0.27745:80030400, 4.21921:0F010480, 255.27962:FA000000, 255.1494:00000000, 255.26426:25000000, 4.9780:BFF9FFFF, 4.14900:0F010480, 4.1509:0F010480, 4.7950:0F010480, 255.1750:00000000, 0.26849:00000000, 255.21817:0F010480, 0.17361:2D000000, 4.19665:0F010480". ##

I have tried to find a solution to this online but I can't seem to locate one that works.
I downloaded and installed Exchange 2007 SP3 and that did not correct the issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Is this happening for a single user?

No. It is happening to more than one user
As per this kb, you need to install Exchange 2007 SP2
However Exchange 2007 SP3 is out for more than a year.

Please use this tool if you are going to install SP2 first before installing SP3
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974271

Please follow this guide on how to install Exchange 2007 SP3 on SBS 2008
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982423

SP3 download link
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=24111
Exchange 2007 SP3 is already installed
Sorry I missed that in your original post.
No problem
Can you enable pipeline tracing for the specific sender.
Set-TransportServer Server1 -PipelineTracingSenderAddress chris@contoso.com

Details here
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125018%28v=exchg.80%29.aspx

check the trace logs and please post back.

thanks
I have more information to add that might shed some light. All emails without attachments, incoming and outgoing, are getting through. Incoming mail with attachments are being rejected and returned to the sender. Outgoing emails with attachments are going out, but without the attached files.

The solution for this issue is to create a new Mailbox Database and then move the mailboxes over to the new database.
