Xerox Copier/Printer not able to scan to email
I have 3 locations setup very similar. All are behind Cisco ASA 5505's and have Xerox ColorQube's behind them.
Users are not able to use the scan to email function at 2 of the 3 sites. We're using gmail as our SMTP server.
We've tried replicating the settings from the working location (i.e. username/pw, DNS, etc). The same account can be used on a PC, and that PC can send emails with attachments using the account.
Packet inspection on the ASA shows outbound traffic on port 53 and 587 and also return traffic - the printer has perfectly fine internet access.

Some follow up information...
One of the two non-working sites was fixed by changing the connection encryption setting on the printer from SSL/TLS to STARTTLS. On the other unit in a different office that setting doesn't appear to exist (Xerox WorkCentre 7328).

It's the same answer (get the ip of the SMTP server); but, the instructions are on page 79 of this: http://download.support.xerox.com/pub/docs/WC7328_WC7335_WC7345/userdocs/any-os/en/en_WC-7328-7335-7345_SAG.pdf
