I'm getting this problem at a client. When He tries to link/add a pdf document as an object into MS Word 2010.

"The program used to create this object is AcroExch. That program is not installed on your computer. To edit this object, you must install a program that can open the object".

He is currently got the following version installed:

Adobe Acrobat X Pro : Ver 10.1.2
Adobe Acrobat Reader X : Ver 10.1.2
MS Win 7 (64-bit) : Service Pack 1
MS Office 2010 : Version 14.0.6112.5000 (64-bit).

I have tried with an earlier version of acrobat reader (version 9) and still the same error occurs.
I have also disabled protected view in acrobat reader as recommended by various forums.
Also made Acrobat pro the default for PDF files.

Nothing works
