hi there
one of my sites uses smtp to send emails from within some of the web-forms.
the way it used to work is having this section in the web.config file:

<mailSettings>
                  <smtp>
                        <network
                               host="mail.myOldExchangeServer.com"
                               port="25"
                               userName="info@myDomain.com"
                               password="myInfoPassword" />
                  </smtp>
            </mailSettings>

this all worked great. but...
we recently left the old provider and moved to microsoft online (or is it office365?) as our online exchange provider

now for my question, after searching endlessly, and finding ONLY irrelevant solutions for other problems:
is it possible to update the above web.config section to enable us to use our new provider ? if yes, then how? (only changing the details inside fails, and returns:

"The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated..."

if not, then what is a possible solution?

again, specifically for using in asp.net to send mails (no smtp server on our iis)

cheers!
