I've been getting a high number of these errors in the application event log on my MQ Server:<br />

I see in the queue manager properties that there are some various paremeters you can set at the channel and TCP level (and possibly elsewhere.) &nbsp;Does anyone have any ideas of what may help here? &nbsp;TIA.

WebSphere MQ 9208 errors in application event log

An application server is a software framework that provides both facilities to create applications and a server environment to run them. Most application server frameworks contain a comprehensive service layer model, acting as a set of components accessible to the software developer through an API defined by the platform itself. For Web applications, these components are usually performed in the same running environment as their web server(s), and their main job is to support the construction of dynamic pages. However, many application servers target much more than just Web page generation: they implement services like clustering, fail-over, and load-balancing.

Application Servers

Software is any set of instructions that directs a computer to perform specific tasks or operations. Computer software consists of programs, libraries and related non-executable data (such as documentation). Computer software is non-tangible, contrasted with computer hardware, which is the physical component of computers. Software written in a machine language is known as "machine code". However, in practice, software is usually written in high-level programming languages than machine language. High-level languages are translated into machine language using a compiler or interpreter or a combination of the two.
