Hello,

How can I safely & reliably increase the size of the 'C' partition in SBS2003 and SBS2007?

Alternatively, how can I remove the 'D' partition completely and have just have 'C'?

Thanks

you can use gparted or mini partition tool for resize/merge/split partition(s)

! backup required before action !
there's server Partition Manager and Partition Assistant Server they're dedicated for server partitionning.
here's a link with better explanation:

Thx for quick replies. I will backup before I proceed.

Please keep in mind that I have only one shot and it has to be done as fast as possible (server needs to go back into production environment) and it can't cause any future problems.

I am looking for solution that you used over and over with the SBS 2003 and SBS 2007 and never had problems. Not just anything you googled!

Cheers.

Before you rush into resize - let me have a look on your current configurations. Take a screen shot of Windows Disk Management on machines you need to perform resize with. Load the screen shots here. I have done these resizes hundreds times already so can give precise guidance.
