Charts with No Data

I have a report that has several pie charts used to view different values.  Ocassionaally one or more of the charts will disappear.  I have discovered that this happens when there is no data to display.  That is, for example, a chart showing income for different departments in a store.  If all the departments show zero income, the chart will be "invisible".

I understand the reason and logic, but it makes my reports look funny when there's the occasional hole.

So, the question is, how do I put a place holder of some sort (probably text that says "No Data Available") that will show up if there is no data?

If you have a simple way to know when there is no data, I'd probably use that, as mlmcc suggested, just because then you're in control.  But if that's a problem, you could try putting a text field in the same position as the chart, then right-click on the text field and select Move > "To Back" (or right-click on the chart and select Move > "To Front").  I just tried that and it seemed to work.  When the chart had data, it was "in front of" the text box, so the text couldn't be seen.  when the chart did not have data, the text was visible.

Thanks.  :)
