My laptop wireless adapter has an intermittent fault
Hi
I have a wireless network adapter in my laptop ie Atheros AR5007EG and it has an intermittent fault. Sometimes it connects fine and works great and then it goes into a 'no connections are available' mode. All the time when it cannot connect the light in the adapter stays on as if its working and checking the divice in device manager looks fine too. In device manager it says the wireless adapter is working properly.
So there you have it. My question to the experts is, where do I start in diagnosing this very annoying fault. My gut feeling is that it is a software issue as there is a slight delay in the mouse movement during the times the wireless is not working.
I have also downloaded and installed the latest drivers for windows 7 which I am running.
I would be grateful for some expert advice.

Hi,
I have turned on 'High Performance' and made sure in device manager 'turn device off for power saving' is unchecked.
