I've got to check out an XP pc on Saturday that's acting a bit erratically at the moment. The symptoms are:<br />

1. Grinds to a standstill around the same time every day, but no scheduled tasks running at this time and cpu running between 1 and 3%. Runs perfectly during the rest of the day.<br />
<br />
2. Another pc connected to the same network point had a similar problem, so I'll try another cable and network switch socket, but can't understand why the problem is intermittent.<br />

3. Like it's predecessor, this PC runs remote CCTV software and I thought it may be doing something on this, but it's not registering on the cpu usage and it's loaded on other pcs without affecting them.<br />

Any ideas?
