Hi, I know this is probably very simple, but I just can't figure out how to make it happen:

I have some fields on my form that are null when the form is run, but I want it to automatically populate with the value of $0.00 until the user wants to enter a new amount.

Let me know if you need to know more to make this happen...

...as it seems that your direct Question has been answered...

If you define the Field as "Currency" in the table, ...and then create the form (based on the table)
The resulting Field should be formatted as currency automatically...

Yes, I've done both of those things, but I'm still getting blank fields....

...and, yes, I have them formatted as currency in the table, but for some reason, I'm not getting it on the form, even though I also have them set as currency on the form...

and default value set to 0 doesn't seem to make a difference, either.

Jut to be clear...

You create a table and define the datatype of the field as "Currency"
You then set the default value for the field as "0".

*Then* you create a *NEW* form from the table.
Are you saying that if you do this as a test, it does not work...?

Remember the table properties you change now will only affect *New* forms created from the table, It will *Not* magically change anything on an existing form.

Again, No points wanted here, as the first two experts seemed to have answered your direct question.
