Windows 7 Prem Home installation error
I have a Acer Aspire M3900 PC that got a virus ... so I tried to repair the startup and it failed so next using the recovery partition I tried to restore to factory condition .. that also fails on reboot... Next I tried to fresh install with a new MS windows 7 dvd ... that also fails on reboot.... I tried switching Ram models & also the HD ... still failing .... so I just tried tro install win xp pro and it installed just fine.... Any ideas

I did reformat the whole drive .... and the error i get is "Windows can't insatall required files ..." 0x80070570"

Before you re-installed did you format the whole Drive? yes
Did you delete and recreate any of the partitions? Yes
Make sure when your installing Win 7 onto the System Drive, not the Recovery Drive.
yes I did install to the system drive.
Can you think of any thing else?
