I wrote a script that pings a large list of IP addresses in my internal network and creates and excel spreadsheet that puts the results in seperate columns:

IP Address     Computer Name     Status
------------------------------------------------------
10.0.1.1          someserver-big      Pings Successfull

This works perfectly.  But I am trying to figure out how to search this excel file from a new script and filter the computer name results so that if a servername contains "-big" in its name (example: someserver-big or big-server) I can blank the Cell or replace the Cell text with whatever I want.  I have googled around but cant find any good examples.  Anyone have an idea or example?

Note:  I am limited to the tools I can use so Unfortunately VBS is what I have to work with and since this needs to be automated I cant manually run a macro in excel.

Thanks
