Take, for example this list of instructions on how to install a plug in I'm interested in

"Log in to iManager.

Click Configure >Plug-in Installation > Available Novell Plug-in Modules.

Click Add and browse to the (file I've just downloaded) file, then click OK.

Verify that the module is (file I've just downloaded) and the description reads (as expected)

Select the check box next to the field patch (file I've just downloaded) and click Install."
I do all that, but on clicking "Install" precisely nothing happens

Similarly, to modify a login script, we are told (in the Imanager login scripts guide):

1 Double-click the object whose login script you want to create or modify.
You can create this login script on a Container object, Profile object, or User object.
2 Click Login Script.
3 Type the login script commands and information in the login script text box.
For a sample, see “Sample Login Scripts” on page 19.
4 To save the login script and close the Details dialog box, click OK.
Here, I can't even get beyond step one. I can see and select any object I'm interested in, but clicking OK to move on to step 2, again, produces no reaction.
