laptop I have a vertical red line on my screen.

I have a Dell Laptop and on the screen i have a vertical red line.
Something like that is usually either the Monitor or the Video card.
Connect the monitor to another computer, if it looks OK its probably the Video card.

What Dell Test i should conduct ?

This is wrong - if it looks ok, it's probably NOT the video card, but the LCD screen or controller.  If the same problem shows on both the LCD screen and an external monitor, that would indicate a video card problem.

Vertical lines usually mean the LCD screen needs replacement.

I've returned many Lenovo and Dell laptops due to constant or intermittent vertical lines on the LCD. More times than not is not the inverter but the vertical controller. This item is located just behind the bezel on the LCD directly above the top row of keyboard keys.
If it's in warranty it's easily enough replaced. If not, you may consider taking it to a local mom and pop computer store for diagnostics. Many of those little shops will apply the diagnostic towards repairs.
