Cell phone pictures copied to pc are small

I copied some pictures I need to print out off of a t-mobile my touch phone to my computer but when I open them up they are very small and if I try to print them out bigger they are very blurry.  Any help to get them to normal size would be greatly appreciated.

What cell phone?
What cell phone OS?
What syncing software?

Its probably a setting in the sync software that will shrink the image or the setting on the phone that will shrink it to decrease the transfer size.

It's a T-Mobile My Touch.  OS Android vs. 2.2.1  I tried using the native ms win xp software to copy over the pics and alo just copying the data directaly from the phone to the pc directly.  There was over 1000 pictures and just now realized some come out small and some are regular size either way I copied them.  Phone setting I'm guessing?  Any idea if that's right and if so how to change it?
I have seen on some of the Android phones that there is a directory (Folder) for thumbnails and another for the actual pictures.  When browsing the file structure have a look at the file sizes to distinguish between the two.
Ok.  Any idea why some pics would be saved as thumbnails and not others?
Check the camera settings.
Any idea where?  It's not my phone/camera.  Not familiar with it at all.
