I've one table TableA.

TableA
======

I've one View ViewA.
Id Code Description
-- ------   ---------------
1  001    One
2  002    Two
3  003    Three
.................

ViewA
=====

Code
-----
002
.........

I would like to get output in such a way that I need to check each and every code from table to View and have a Bit flag(1 if exists 0 otherwise) if the TableA code exists in ViewA.

Expected output:

Id Code Description  IsExistsInView
-- ------   -------------  ------------------
1  001    One              0
2  002    Two              1
3  003    Three           0
.................

Please help. Thanks.

try

with table1 as (
      select 1 id, '001' Code, 'One' Description from dual
union select 2 id, '002' Code, 'Two' Description from dual
union select 3 id, '003' Code, 'Three' Description from dual
), ViewA as (
select '002' Code from dual
)
select t.*, (case when v.code is not null then 1 else 0 end) as IsExistsInView
from table1 t left join ViewA v on t.code=v.code
order by id

ID	CODE	DESCRIPTION	ISEXISTSINVIEW
1	001	One	0
2	002	Two	1
3	003	Three	0

If you really need it to be a bit data type than you will have to use CAST() to convert to bit.  In other words instead of 0 and 1 you will need to do something like CAST(1 as bit) or CAST(0 as bit)
It works. Thanks.
