restore of physical server

I am thinking how to restore my  physical windows 2003 machine if it brokes.
As I know the standard process of restore is:

1. found a machine with similar hardware
2. install windows 2003
3. install backup agent
4.restore SystemState
5. restore files.
6.recover application
And the whole process takes really long time, and meanwhile service is down.

I was wondering if there is any other way(fast and easiest) to do this , any backup software that can protect machine in some other way that this standard way.  Maybe something like image level backup or CDP to different machine with dissimilar hardware or any other ....
I am using IBM TSM software to backup machine now, but if there is something better i can switch to it.
It will be very helpful for me if you recommend me something.
Thanks in advance to all.

This will also give you the ability to convert your backup into a VM format so you can come back online almost immediately following a disaster scenario or while you are looking for replacement hardware.

There are many options but It seems that you are looking for minimum down time. So the best way is to put is in the Cluster group, This way if your server crashes then you can run your resources on other server with no down time. Also maintaining cluster is not that tough
Suresh,

You are absolutely right if you need NO downtime and require 100% operational status at all times and have virtually an unlimited budget then that would be an excellent option.

But from a cost standpoint I am offering a solution that is approx 2 - 3K depending on the options purchased. You are offering a solution that is 30 - 50K.

lol shahzoor, well at least we are on the same sheet of music :P
Everyone knows the common answer i.e restore from Backup.  So the best way is Document each and every  steps of the restore procedures. So that in case of any issue anyone should be able to restore the Server.
As you have mentioned 6 steps to restore the server.
Well if you can afford additional HDD, Then
1. Keep an additional HDD ready with OS, Backup agents in advance. so that in case of any issue you can plug HDD and just restore the applications. OR
2. Clone your current HDD and keep it seperately and what ever backup you take can be restored once every month or so this way you can also do your restore checking.
