Implications about using zend framework in windows ?

1. I normally use appserv or wamp in my computers in order to develop php applications, I wonder if zend is compatible with those or the zend server would be similar to appserv and wamp (php, mysql, etc.)?
2. What would be the implications at the moment of migrating the localhost site to a hosted one?

A final situation, after installing Zend, will be able to keep developing "native" php applications as I used to with wamp?
