I am setting up a Win 2008 R2 2 node cluster and am unclear about the storage requirements.

Do I need a SAN or can I use the HDD installed in the machines that are going to be clustered?

Ideally I am wanting to use a 1TB drive divied into 4 partitions as the quorum in server1 and duplicate this in server2, but all the documentation I have read is unclear if this is possible and points to using a SAN.
