Painfully slow internet connection for all users
Hello,
What are the best steps to take to find out where the problem exists, perhaps a client machine, that is making the internet SLOW for all. I am using RDP to connect back to the network from home and even it is painfully slow.
Thanks

What kind of connection speed do you have? (you can do a test at speedtest.net.) is it wireless or wired within your network?
what type of internet connection do you ahave at work? how many people are connecting simultaneously? is it just the rdp sessions that are slow? please proovide more details.

Okay, we only have about 30 client PC's...and only about a third of them are being used.
I have a 3Mb/3Mb fiber connection with SLA...that has never given trouble.
One interesting thing is I have done Speedtest about a dozen times and the download speed checks out (3+Mb) but the upload speed fails or times out each time.
Nothing has changed via configuration since this happend over the weekend.
Everything is slow...browsing, RDP from outside, even downloading phone to my smartphone from the inhouse mail server is slow.
What would I filter in wireshark...ive been using it and shut down a machines that had alot of traffic in general, but nothing is really sticking out.

Update: upload test are working, but still slow (.5Mb instead of 3Mb)...is there a good way to look for excessive outbound traffic on the network? (I know its typically a router feature)
