Dell SAS/5E in Windows 2008 R2 running on Citrix XenServer 5.6 issues
Am going crazy trying to install the Dell SAS/5E drivers in my new Windows 2008 R2 VM. Running XenServer 5.6.
Any ideas? Is this even possible?
Have tried installing every driver I could find for the SAS card, but it lists as "unable to start". Almost all other Dell drivers fail, so am thinking I may need to install a Xenserver driver, but not sure how to do this.
Thanks in advance,
John

Thanks for the input. I have tried the "xen-tools" installation and that worked, as Windows now sees the card. Unfortunately, Backup Exec does not see the tape device connected to the card, so I may try the specific drivers mentioned by Mutawadi tomorrow.
And sorry for forgetting to mention that I'm trying to run Backup Exec 2010 R2 on the Citrix XenServer, which is why I need it to see the tape drive.

I'm going to call this solved, as installing the xen-tools did resolve the issue with Windows Server 2008 R2 recognizing the SAS/5E card. It now sees it as Citrix PV SCSI Host Adapter
