Passing a variable to another page when you use an asp:LinkButton

I think this is pretty easy; I'm just a little new to ASP.Net.

I have one page that has an asp:LinkButton.  When you click that link, it sends you to another page.  I did this by setting the asp:LinkButton's PostBackUrl property.

What I want to do, though, is pass a variable to the new page - so that I can get the value of the variable in the page_load function, and make some decisions at that time how to render the page.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
