Memory utilization in Ibm - Aix servers

Hi experts.

Why I notice high memory utilization in our Ibm - Aix servers?  Is this normal behavior for Aix?
Attached descriptive files.

Hi Linda,

That's a good thing.  :)

A well tuned system will use as much memory as it can, as often as it can.  Depending on the O/S, work load, and a host of other factors, 80% utilization is a good target.  This means that most of the system memory is occupied with work, and a significant portion is available for additional tasks, or memory requests from current tasks without having to free more memory.

Are you seeing performance issues that make you think that there's a problem?

Kent
AIX tries to use all memory for filesystem caching which is not required for processes.

See the distribution of memory usage with "topas"

Check "% Comp" ("Computational" = processes) and "% Noncomp" ("Non Computational" = cache) in the middle right area under "MEMORY".

Thank you.
I 'am attaching the topas of the different servers - printscreen  in one document.
About the filesystem caching.  Is this necessary, Can it be disabled?
About performance problem I thought that seeing such a high utilization percentage can affect the oracle services already in those servers.
