As you can see, the first recipient of the email correctly receives the MAIL FROM address of <John@sender.co.uk>, however the final 2 recipients within our organisation get sent an email with the MAIL FROM listed as <J>

This means our Exchange 2007 server is blocking it due to us not configuring a Default Domain on our Receive Connector as per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944302

I've now configured this Default Domain on our systems but we'd like to resolve this issue on the senders end.

Has anyone experienced this before and if so did you manage to fix it?

This issue is intermittent as occasionally we will receive this senders emails.
If you need any more information let me know.

NOTES:
Sender is using Exchange 2003 SP2 on an SBS 2003. Client is Outlook 2007.

Andrew Wilson
