Hello, we have several clients that backup to an external hard drive. Each eavening they swap the drive. On the newer versions of BEX - like 2010 R2 and R3, every time they swap the drive, the B2D folder goes offline. We have to go in and manually force the folder back online. Extremely annoying! I've done a lot of research on this issue and I can't seem to find a clear cut way to resolve this. The only thing I have found is to create a batch file that cycles the BEX services. I'd rather not do that since our NOC will complain.

I've also noticed that this isn't a problem with our clients that are using BEX 11d.

Is there any good way to make these folders go back online once a drive is swapped? Any help is greatly appreciated.
