We have windows 2008 standard (32 bit) and SQL 2008 standard (32 bit) installed on PE 1950 and database on storage MD1000. (G:\ volume for *.mdf and H:\ volume for *.ldf)<br />

In order to move to 64 bit SQL 2008, I am installing windows 64 bit OS on R510 server and fresh installation of SQL 2008 (64 bit). <br />
<br />
Database needs to be on the same storage (MD1000) with same configuration.<br />
