In a form I have a checkbox named Available and a date field named AvailableDate.
What I need to happen is when the checkbox is checked - enter the current date into the "AvailableDate" field, when it is unchecked - clear the AvailableDate field.

I am attempting to do an AfterUpdate on the checkbox with something like the following (which of course does not work):

Private Sub Available_AfterUpdate(Cancel As Integer)
    If [Available] = Yes Then
    AvailableDate = (current date)
    Else
    If If [Available] =  No Then
    [ActualAvailable] = (clear date field)
End If
End Sub
