Exchange 2010 not receiving from one domain and not sending to another
We have Exchange running on SBS 2011. One customer we cannot send to from Exchange but can send to via gmail. We can receive messages from them. Another we can't receive from but we can from gmail. We can however send to them. Both are completely different customers. How can i determine why we can not communicate with them? I checked MXTool box and they are not blacklisted.

No I did not receive any NDR when sending mail.
The outside party sending to us does not receive any NDR.
This is a continuing issue with just these two domains. We do use mxlogic for filtering incoming mail but I have verified with them that the incoming messages are not being stopped by them.

According to your update,
incoming email:
-mxlogic is not stopping, but are they receiving emails from that domain?
-ask them to add the the domain name(that you have issue in receiving email) and the IP address to their trusted list for further testing.
-if you have access to mxlogic, find out the logs for a week or two and analyze.
sending issue:
-track the email that you send, see where is it going.
-according to your updates, the emails are disappearing. need to dig in more, do tracking of emails and see where it stops.
Is your outgoing email flow is taken care by mxlogic, or you are sending directly?

SBS 2011 uses the built-in Anti-Spam tools that are installed and enabled by default. The messages that are not arriving are probably being rejected by the tools. As you use 3rd party filtering, you can disable the tools and will hopefully find the emails arrive happily.
Disable them in the Exchange Management Console> Org Config> Hub Transport> Anti-Spam Tab. Set all to disabled and restart the Microsoft Exchange Transport Service.
In terms of your outbound issues, please have a read of my article:

The third party filtering is set to quarantine suspect files and notify the users. These messages are not listed in the quarantine.
I had already disabled the Anti-Spam tool in Exchange. Do you have any other suggestions?

Can you drop me a test email to alan @ it-eye.co.uk please - it will let me check your outbound settings and see if anything is wrong. Please let me know if / when you have sent an email.

It looks like the outbound problem was resolved when I removed the users auto complete cache in Outlook. The address was correct but for some reason it didn't work.
The inbound problem is concerning me more now. I now have three users from three domains that can't send us emails. No NDR's. If I send them an email and ask them to reply I get their messages in my gmail account but not in the exchange account. I contacted mxlogic and they say they show no record of the messages being received by their servers. I would think DNS but we are getting messages from other domains.

If MXlogic are not getting the emails then there is a problem between the sender and MXlogic. Are they perhaps using an IP address to send messages to you which is not accepting their messages because it is the wrong IP?

They are just replying to a message I send them. I rekpy from a Gmail account with no problem.

I was offered a lot of help but calling the isp was the answer.
the domain you are unable to send,
- Did you recieve any NDR?
- If no NDR, is the emails retry on the queue for more time etc, also share some details about your mail flow infra.
the domain from which the emails fails to recieve,
-What error they receive when sending email? any NDRs?
