Cisco ASA 5520 & Forefront TMG as cache

You are well informed - most people would not have a clue in this regard and it becomes tedious trying to explain that certain protocols either cannot be supported currently for various reasons by TMG or simply are never going to be. In this case, WCCP is generally applied globally to layer 3/routing devices and, of course, TMG is NOT a router... it is a packet and protocol inspector for want of a better expression.

I assume you are using Citrix or something similar and some form of acceleration/optimisation?

Can you give a simple schematic of your relevant environment and an overview of how you perceived traffic flowing through it?

We do not have any Citrix products, all based on MS.

There is our schematic environment.

All traffic come from LAN thru CORE to ASA, then, web-traffic (WCCP) will go to TMG.
