We have a SBS 2008 running.

Is this after an update of windows? If that is remove the latest installed update and check again.

No updates have been installed
Anything else changed. For example the firewall setting or proxy server?
It can also be an update for another piece of software that may can cause this.
Nothing has changed on the server, we just installed 3 new laptops. While we configured them we got a popup in IE asking us to give in our login and password for each time we visit a website. We were able to disable that in IE, but now we get the error in de screenshot above.

We can however ping everything (server, router, firewall and even google)
There should be something changed on the server. It's odd that you got a popup in IE for asking an username and password. Are you using Active Directory?
Yes, we are using AD.

Currently we are looking into this

Right click on internet explorer- click run as admin and then try bowsing websites.

Sounds like a uac issue...lower uac settings.
