Blue Screen Bad_Pool_Caller

Last Modified: 2013-11-08
I keep getting the Blue Screen with Bad_Pool_Caller and thought it was the onboard Video for my Intel motherboard (see image 1) so I went and spent $100 for a video card by  ATI Radeon (see image 2)

Can anyone tell me from the minidump file and images below.......I could not figure out how to open the minidump file what might be causing the problem. You advise is appreciated. Thank you.

Mentioning of hcw18bda leads to the conclusion that you have an issue with an Haupage TV card, at least that is (besides Malware hints) the only reference I found for hcw18bda.sys.

How would I know if it is not powerful enough. Is there a way of knowing or seeing how much power is being consumed vs how much I have on board. I think i am using a 500w power supply. I am not at my home office for a few weeks so I am going to check this weekend. Your thoughts..?

Just wondering . I got a reading back from the PSU that showed 38 W over 88 Watts but I know this unit has to be a 400 Watt at least. So it is looking like this has to be something that involves the Hauppauge card. I have contacted them and their help is lack luster to say the least.
Is it possible that since this seems to happen mostly over night when I am not even on the unit and forget and leave the system up and the TV recording that maybe the system is reaching some kind of MAX load and fails. If so this makes me think I just need to configure something in the BIOS of the Intel DQ965CO BIOS CO96510J.54T.0030.2007.0530.1030
I do not know if there is something I need to turn off or disable enable to make this work. Any final thoughts......and thank you sir for the help.

Sorry guys. I did not pick up on the first time that I had to enter in the different pieces of the machine. I thought it was reading it off the machine itself. Thanks for the insight.
