This Saturday, I'm tasked with verifying network integrity (user authentication via Active Directory, internet access, access to file shares, and printers) during a mock distaster test.

The scenario:

Branch A, houses two of our 3 Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers on subnet 10.10.10.x.
DC 1 is responsible for all file shares, user folders, and printers, DNS, and DHCP
DC 2 contains all 5 FMSO roles, DNS, and DHCP

Branch B houses the other domain controller (Winodws 2008 R2) on subnet 10.10.12.x
DC 3 has no roles outside of basic AD functions, DHCP server, and DNS.

Both domain controllers at branch A will be powered off.

I know there are several things to consider, but would you mind sharing with me what you would do faced with this scenario.

One thing to mention is I'm using DFS file replication as well as namespace between DC1 and DC3
