my boss recommended me to use  following tools

DreameWeaver, Fireworks.

is this good idea  or notepad is the way to go.
Dreamweaver in the hands of a professional can be marginally usable, but it is not to forgiving and is nasty to debug if you mess something up.

You don't have to get as primitive as Notepad.  There are some good professional editors (freeware) that will give you syntax highlighting, auto indent, and things that help you see your errors and typos.  I use an editor named programmer's Notepad.  If you do a search for free text editors you will find a bunch of them, and it is just a matter of trying a couple to find the one that suits the way you prefer to work.

thanks so much guys. i start with notepad, i downloaded Dreamweaver,  i will see which one i found productive.
