I am getting an SSD which may fix my slow performance with Windows 7 on Parallels on Mac Lion. But I hear VMWare is better performing than Parallels, and that Parallels is a dog, even.<br />

What kind of performance improvement should I expect? Should I move the whole disk, including Parallels and Windows 7, to the SSD for a speed test?<br />
<br />
After I go with an SSD, will the benefit of VMWare over Parallels be hard to distinguish?<br />

Mac OS X is the desktop operating system from Apple Inc., found on Macintosh computers. OS X consists of a Mach/BSD-based kernel, operating system interfaces primarily based on FreeBSD and additional frameworks (written in C, C++ and Objective-C providing user interface and application-level services.
