Software resets PC
Hi experts
I have an intermittent problem with my Windows application software. It uses serial com port to communiate with an external hardware. When I changed the serial port from inside my software to switch from one port to another, the entire PC got reset.
When I reboot my PC, I were given 3 logs for the crash: Mini.dmp, sysdata.xml, manifest.txt
I know that Windows come with some SDK that allows developer to do post-modem examination. But I don't know how. I don't know how tedious it is but I hope if it is not too much trouble. Could any expert out there help me to take a quick look and point me the right direction of solving this intermittent crash.
